Waffle Flower Celebrating 7 Years Blog Hop

Waffle Flower is celebrating its 7th birthday with a blog hop, a link party, and lots of giveaways! Today, I'm featuring a trio of cards using some of my favorite Waffle Flower supplies!

This first card uses one of my favorites, the Sprigs Dies. These mini dies are so versatile and are so much fun even die cut in just plain white! For this card, I die cut a window (using one of the many Waffle Flower nesting dies) and filled it with sprigs and backed it with a colorful background. I added a sentiment from the Sentiment Additions set.

I've always loved alphabet dies and these next two cards use the Tower Outline Dies and the Wide Alpha Dies. Letter dies are so versatile and one of my favorite things to do is to mix them with shapes. This time I mixed it with one of the leaves from another one of my Waffle Flower favorites, Fall Leaves Dies. The leaf die is inlaid with rainbow colored cardstock and makes a fun focal element. For the letters, I used both the letter and the outline die to create inlaid letters. The small stamped sentiment is from the Outline Love stamp set. Lots of white space with a pop of color is my favorite kind of card!

My last card today uses another letter set called Wide Alpha Dies. I love the profile on these and they work so well with landscape and slimline cards. For this sentiment, I die cut the letters and overlapped the letters. I added a stamped and die cut sentiment from the Sentiment Additions set. I love these little sentiments because of the flowy font and the matching dies!  For a background I used the A2 Piercing Panel Die. I do not stitch much, but I love that panel just as a background. The little dots give the perfect touch of texture.

That's all for me today! The team is hopping with some awesome guests, so don't miss any of the fun!  The next on the list is the amazing Laura Bassen! Here's the whole list in case you missed anyone!
