Now let's take a looksie at some new Paper Smooches!  One of the things I love so much about Paper Smooches stamps and dies is mixing and matching pieces to create little scenes.  I'm using one of the new Trees 2 dies for this little summer time scene.  I die cut the tree trunk from woodgrain embossed paper.  Then I created the "leaves" of the tree by die cutting a mix of cloud dies until I got the custom shape that I wanted.

Here's a little close up of the woodgrain tree and the little birdie (from the My Peeps set):)

Thanks for stopping in!  The next stop on the hop is the amazing Julia Stainton.  I'm sure she's got something wonderful to share!

A Couple Cards with Avery Elle

Hello guys!  Just a quick stop on the blog with an Avery Elle  card for you today!  This card uses the Party Bunny die along with other balloons dies:)  Lots of fun and super easy to do!  The balloon highlights were added with a bit of white gel pen.

This second card uses the Tea Time set with Alice (naturally;).  I love that sentiment!

I'm so, so happy that you stopped by today!  I truly appreciate your visits and your kind words!

Cheers!

Mustache X 2 with Paper Smooches

Hi everyone!  Is everyone enjoying their weekend?  This is birthday weekend in our family 3 birthdays in the house just this week), but I'm squeezing in a couple of Paper Smooches cards today.  They both use the new Mustaches dies, but in very different ways:)  For this first card, I die cut the mustache and the glasses and inlaid them into a strip panel.  In the background, I used a variety of star stamps to create a custom look.  I colored the mustache with Copics just to get a more variegated look.

This second card is a bit different;)  This time I used the mustache die to create a pair of wings for this sympathy card.  So many people I know how lost their doggie loved ones lately and sympathy cards can be so hard to make.  The top of the card was blended with ink and misted in silver, white, and gold.  The wings/mustache was die cut from vellum and "colored" with a glitter pen.

Thank for stopping in today!

Take care,
jj

Two for Thursday with Avery Elle

Hello everyone!  I missed last week, so I have two Avery Elle  cards for you today!  The first card uses the fun Fly By set.  This set is so unique with the dies for the cloud writing!  The background was done in stages.  I masked off a circle and blended ink in for the sun.  Then I masked the sun and sponged a cloud background (you can pick up the free Silhouette cut here).  I stacked a couple of the "hello" cloud writing die cuts so they were a bit more 3D.  Aren't those dies fun?

This second card is for my niece and I used the This Book stamp set and the coordinating Bookmark dies.  My niece is 6 years old and she's getting into books more and more these days.  So I thought a personalized bookmark would be just the thing to encourage a little girl to read;)  The fun heart paper is from the Happy Collection pad.  And of course, it matches the little pink owl on the card:)  Now all I have to do is find her next book!

I'm so, so happy that you stopped by today!  I truly appreciate your visits and your kind words!

Saturday with Paper Smooches

Happy Saturday folks!  I've got a couple Paper Smooches cards to share today.  I hope one of them tickles your fancy;)  The first card uses the new Ring Trio die.  I used water colors and inlaid them into a die cut.  Love how this turned out!

Here's a closer look...

This second card is something completely different;)  I used the new Tooth Fairy die to create a little card that you the Tooth Fairy can leave some money in under a pillow.  My favorite part of this card are the gold fairy wings.  I heat embossed the wings using a butterfly stamp from the Graceful Beauties set.  (I also used Sunny Side Up set for the teeth and the Thanks 2 die)  Lots of fun to make!

Thanks for stopping by!

Mahalo and Aloha,
jj
