Hey y'all! Today, I'm so excited to share that I will be playing along with the Clear & Simple Stamps Design Team this month! When Nicki asked me to guest design, I was THRILLED because 1) CSS has amazing products (especially the dies) and 2) some of my favorite people are on their DT (shout out to Elena and Laurie)! Thanks Nicki!

My next card was so much fun to do! I used the CSS Symbols dies to create a pattern. Can you guess the symbols? The "<" and ">", of course! The symbols are just the right shape to build a diamond design. {If you've ever visited here before, you know I had to try this;)} I stamped a simple and classic sentiment and added a strip of gold card stock to pull it all together. Colorful paper + die cuts = awesome!

You just knocked my socks off with your CSS fabulousness!!! Love how you colored that bird and only you could create such geometric beauty with symbol dies! Awesome projects, JJ!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I love the colourful bird. And the die cut border on the second card is fabulous!
ReplyDeleteWe have to have words again Ms. JJ about keeping secrets, lol! Congrats on your Guest Spot - totally deserved and these offerings have really rocked your first post!! Love your clever use of the die cuts on the second card especially, but I guess I shouldn't be surprised that you can pull something like that off so effortlessly!!

ReplyDeleteGorgeous, JJ! I'm so glad to you see you doing you magic with CSS (LOVE their stuff). That bird is making me swoon!
ReplyDeleteBoth are beauties. I love the bit of color for the bird. And of course, you are the master at taking die cut shapes in pretty colors and coming up with a geometric design. Another great one.
ReplyDeleteJJ, these are fantastic! I love how your color choices add a great contrast in that first card, and what a great use of dies in the second...what a great pattern!

ReplyDeleteThis totally caught me by surprise, I popped over to the CSS site to see the new release and then I saw your face!!! Now how cool is that? So excited. Love how you perched a bird right in the middle of the forest, very different spin. And what can I say about your second card ... that is SO YOU!! Looooove it!
