Waffle Flower January 2021 Release Blog Hop

Welcome to Waffle Flower’s January 2021 Release day! We’re blog hopping today to show you all the new goodies waiting for you on the website here! This month, Waffle Flower is starting the year afresh with 4 stamp sets, 3 matching dies, 6 dies,1 stencil-n-stamp, and 4 stencils!

With February around the corner, Waffle Flower is getting ready for Valentine’s Day with two classics, hearts and roses! This release is chock full of ways to share the love with family and friends!

To get your floral fix, there’s Love Letter (stamp, die, combo, stencil, outline die) and Rose Bouquet Stencil-n-Stamp (stencil-n-stamp, die, combo). With a heart theme, there’s the Heart Balloons Stencil Duo (stencil), Heart Blooms Stencils (stencil), Heart Frame Die (die), and Heart Spotlight Stencil (stencil). To coordinate with all of the lovely hearts and roses, Waffle Flower has a trio of shape dies with charming scalloped edges with the Scalloped Hearts Die (die), Scalloped Circles Die (die), and Scalloped Squares Die (die).

To round out the release, Waffle Flower has three fun sentiment sets, Oversized Heart (stamp, combo, word die), Sending Love Sentiments (stamp) and Happy Birthday Sentiments (stamp, die, combo).

My cards today are all about quick and fun! I'm trying to rebuild my stash, and these cards are just what I need! For my first card, I used the Heart Frame Die to create an easy Valentine's Day card. The Heart Frame Die cuts a pattern just around the edge of the panel, so you can either keep the panel for stamping, stenciling, etc., or you can die cut a shape cutout like I did (used one of the dies from the Additional A2 Layers set).

I backed the frame opening with a bit of striped paper from  JJ's Rainbow pad for some quick color. Since the frame has so much color already, I kept the focal image (the previously released Bear Hugs) uncolored. The sentiment is from the new Sending Love Sentiments which works great with line drawings.

This next card uses the Heart Balloons Stencil Duo and the Happy Birthday Sentiments set. I used my Distress Oxide inks because they give the balloons that lovely balloon sheen:)

The open font sentiment layers so great over backgrounds! I die cut the sentiment and layered it just for a little extra detail.

This last card uses the Heart Balloons Stencil again, but instead I used it to outline a single balloon to match my stamped image. I love how you can use a thicker or thinner pen just to match the lines of  stamped image. The sentiment is from the Sending Love set and the Heart Frame is used as a panel. Easy peasy!

That's it for me! Thanks for hopping with me today! Next on the hop is Rebecca but here's the full list if you just jumped in!
