Hi everyone! I've got 2 super easy, super CAS cards made with one of my new favorite Avery Elle sets, Brushed! In this first card, I stamped one of the smaller brushstrokes in 3 colors and inlaid a hello die cut. That's it! I get my color fix but in a super CAS way:)
My second card is a nod to Japanese calligraphy. I've always loved the look of the painted characters. For my card, I did some random strokes (bending the stamps for some) and then heat embossed the sentiment in gold. I love the modern feel of it:)
Until next time! Thanks for stopping by!
Mahalo and Aloha,

ReplyDeleteoh, I love them!
ReplyDeleteLove these, especially that last one with all those bold black strokes and the gold embossing!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous CAS cards, JJ! I really love how your die cut sentiment pops with the colors you chose on your first one, and how you played with angles on the brush strokes on the 2nd one! Your gold sentiment is really stunning and perfect for your inspiration!
ReplyDeleteSuper cute was of using the inlaid die cut! And the second card is so bold and beautiful!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous cards. Especially love the "calligraphy" one.
ReplyDeleteJust love these!!
ReplyDeletewonderful use of the stokes stamp.
ReplyDeleteIt's always a treat to visit your blog, JJ. The inlaid die with bright, bold colors is wonderful! Will definitely have to try that. Love the black and gold on your second card. It really does have that modern feel. And it also fits into a mid-century modern class too. Both are wonderful. Bev
ReplyDeleteMy artsy fartsy loving heart is just loving this trend combo of handwritten sentiments and watercolors. And then you throw in an inlaid die cut for good measure. Couldn't get any better ;)
ReplyDeleteWowza! That 2nd card is so bold and beautiful!
