Mama Elephant Stamp Highlight: Remember December

Hello there!  It's the third day of the Mama Elephant October release highlights and today we're working with the new set, Remember December!  This one is geared for the scrapbookers, but don't overlook how they can be used for cards!

I love the scripty font that Kryssi and Angela chose for this set, so I knew I wanted to use them on my card.  (The bold "Christmas" sentiment is from last year's set Believe in Magic)

In the background, I created a quick and easy bokeh look by first blending blue and yellow inks across the front of the card then using sponge daubers to create the bokeh "dots".  So easy and festive, no?

The stamp highlights will continue tomorrow, but today please be sure to visit these gals to see what they've done with this awesome set:

Mahalo and Aloha,

  8. oh em gee, love the soft bokeh! The daubers make the perfect impression - not crisp like a stamp does. LOVE it.
