Avery Elle: Laurels

Well helloooo!  I'm back with my weekly Avery Elle fix:)  Today, I'm working with a set that you've already seen me use called Laurels!  I have to admit it's pretty hard to put this one down.  Plus, it has matching dies!  I use a bunch of everyday cards, and this set is perfect for that purpose.

First I stamped the background in gold and pink.  The 2-step flowers in this set are so fun to stamp!  For the sentiment, I used one of the Fill in the Blank Word Dies.  It just so happens that the Texture Tiles: Be Cute stamps fit just right over the "LOVE" die:)  I put a little bit of vellum behind the letters to make the sentiment stand out a bit more but still let the background stamping peek through.  (P.S.  My pics seem so strange lately.  Checking my settings and trying to figure out a better place to take pics.  In the mean time, I apologize for the wonkiness:)

Thanks for your visit and for all your happy comments:)  They really make my day!  And don't forget to visit Heather who also has a project today!

Mahalo and Aloha,
jj

  4. Your pictures look fine to me - a little darker than before but that's it! I do remember Amy Tsuruta saying that her pics looked strange on her blog because of a Google setting? Are you just disliking how they look on the blog, or the actual photos? (Ha, because I'm such an expert.)

LOVE this card - the way you have the flowers just peeking out? The perfect sequins? LOVE it :)
