Caring Hearts Card Drive Blog Hop!

Today I'm hopping with Vera Yates and a ton of super fabulous folks to promote the Caring Hearts Card Drive!  The Caring Hearts Card Drive collects and distributes handmade cards for folks in nursing homes during the holidays.  How great is that?  Vera has enlisted a bunch of REALLY cool sponsors this year, so your cards may even get you a fabulous prize (not that you needed it, but it is nice:).  You have until November 30th to deliver your cards!  Get all the details on Vera's site.

Now for my cards:)  The theme of the hop is holiday cards (der, lol!) and my first card was inspired by the fabulously creative Laura Bassen!  I've been admiring her fantastic stamped plaids for months and figured I'd try out a basic plaid (very basic:).   Of course, I had to add a die cut and here's the result!

Supplies: Basic Borders (Mama Elephant), Snowflake Die & Sentiment (WPlus9)

I also did another card just for fun! I don't even know where I got that little sentiment stamp, but I love it! This one is dedicated to my hubby:) Poor guy is always in charge of the uncooperative lights!

Supplies: Holiday Lights ~ Warm Wishes (Avery Elle)

So are you ready to hop?  If you're going in order, the lovely Savannah is next on the list:)  If you get lost along the way, just pop back to Vera's post!

White you're hopping, don't forget to leave some LOVE along the way!  Vera will randomly be picking some winners from the comments!  You could win prizes from these amazing sponsors: Bella Blvd, Hero Arts, Lawn Fawn, Avocado Arts, May Arts, Two Peas in a Bucket, and Online Classes with Jennifer McGuire!

Mahalo and Aloha,
jj
