Waltzingmouse Stamps Christmas Challenge ~ February 2012

I'm finally getting around to posting my Waltzingmouse Stamps Christmas Challenge card for February.  Not only is this challenge a great way to get those Christmas cards done, but Claire offers wonderful prizes for those who participate!  It's not too late to catch up.  February's inspiration was an array of photos and here's the one I picked...
I started off by fashioning the fireplace mantel with my trusty window die (used the larger die this time). Then I die cut a pair of stockings and stamped each one with those great Nordic Winter prints!

I doubled up on the wreath to make it more substantial and added a tiny twine bow.  I'm so happy I found a sentiment that fits just right in the banner!  I plan to make a few more of this card, but next time I'll trim down those stockings a bit (apparently, we have giant feet here;)
Hope everyone has a great weekend!  I'm looking forward to some fun with my two boys today:)  Thanks for visiting!

  1. You are killing me with this window die. I never considered all the possiblities - I just saw it as a window. You have been so creative with this - the drawers blew my mind, you sweet dog (while I'm grieving mine), and now this! You totally AMAZE me JJ!
