Moxie Fab Challenge Card Play

Today I worked on a really CAS card for the Moxie Fab Challenge - Card Play.  I'm always looking at random things to use in papercrafting, but working with playing cards was a first for me.  I scrounged around our junk drawer and found some leftover playing cards (yeah, I'm not working with a full deck;) and the fronts of the cards weren't doing it for me.  BUT the design on the back of the cards had a great vintagey graphic.
To go with the playing card theme, I chose a hand die and sentiment  {I really love that set}  I used the linen side of the impression plate on the white panel for a little texture.  The only other elements on the card are three strands of twine around the top.
No bells, no whistles, but lots of fun to make.

Thanks for looking!

  1. What a clever way to interpret the challenge -- that little hand is so cute and the sentiment is spot on. :-)

  3. Hey, I'm not working with a full deck either! lol :)
I love the CAS look - the white & aqua is so crisp, with that pop of red & just the right touch of baker's twine. I hear lots of bells & whistles :)
