Waffle Flower February 2020 Release Blog Hop

Hi guys!

I can't believe it's February already!  I'm so excited to share the February Waffle Flower release with you!  This month, Waffle Flower has a bunch of goodies to get you in the mood for Spring!  There's the beautiful Potted Lily Combo (stamp and die) by Karla Jodoin.  If you prefer a floral in a whimsical style, there's the Jars of Happiness Combo (stamp and die) by Cassie Loizeaux with the coordinating Jars Sentiments Stamp Set.  Speaking of whimsical, Waffle Flower also has the adorable Rejoice Rabbit Combo (stamp and die) from Big Bear and Bird.  To round out the stamps, there's the Simply Plaids Combo (stamp and die) that includes a stamp set with 2 types of plaid and a fun texture die!

For the die lovers out there, there are 5 die sets this month!  There's the fun and retro Rainbow Birthday Die.  Just in time for your Easter projects, there's the Spring Basket Die which includes the basket plus goodies to put in it!  This month, we've also got the Easy 3 D Bows Die  and Over the Fence Die sets.  Last but not least, there's the super cute Be a Cat Die which is the die version of the kitty in the previously-release Be Her stamp set.

To see the whole collection visit:
Are you ready to see a few cards?  For my first card, I paired the adorable Rejoice Rabbit with the Spring Basket die.  Can I just say that the Rejoice Rabbit is the cutest!!!  It was so much fun to watercolor that stamp!  I did a bit of no-line watercoloring and even took the painting out to the edge of the die cut.  This gives a softer look without the white outline.

This little bunny fit perfectly in the Spring Basket and I added the little tag from the Over the Fence set for my sentiment (from the Jars Sentiments set).

My next card also uses the Spring Basket but this time for Valentine's Day.  I filled the basket with lots of Valentines using the dies from last month's Mailbox Die set.   If you look closely, the basket has a bunch of debossing lines which really give it so much texture.

The last card for today features the Rainbow Birthday die.  Just like the previously-released Rainbow Thank You die, this fun and unique set includes a combination of dies that allows you to do multiple outlines or just one like I have here.  I paired the word die with another one of my designs the Cake Panel die for this fun card!

I love the playful font of this word die!  So much fun!

That's it for me today!  Next in the hop is the lovely Rebecca, but here’s the full blog hop list, so you don’t miss a thing!

  14. Cute and colorful cards! I like the mostly die-cut cards as they can be "mass produced" pretty quickly to make a set.
