Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge 67

This week's Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge and my new Waltzingmouse stamps are definitely getting me into the holiday mood!
I've been wanting to do a snow globe card and the new stamps from Waltzingmouse were the perfect thing.  The first card is a mini tag just like the sketch (it's only about 3-1/2" high). So much fun to make!  {Sorry for the weird pic, my camera is not cooperating tonight}  I love that little banner sentiment!
I surprised myself by starting and (gasp) finishing another card!  Apparently, I really wanted to make snow globe cards:)  For this one, I used the unbelievable cottage stamp from the same A Cottage Home set.  Lots of copic coloring and fussy-cutting going on here.
I really love how it all turned out.

And I used my holographic embossing powder on this one too (see the swirlies)!  If you haven't seen the new

Waltzingmouse stamps yet, go right now!

I'm off to bed!  Thanks for looking!

  1. The two snowglobe cards are gorgeous, I really love them a lot! I very much like how you placed the little snowman in front of the trees and the stars in the background look very beautiful.
And I absolutely love how you coloured the little cottage. The colours remind me of a cold winter night and those "frosted flourishes" in the background are just perfect.

I also have these stamp sets, but I haven't had time yet to use them. Hopefully I can do this very soon.

    Kind regards
    Carola

  6. Wow!! Two fantastic cards. I do like the dimensional snowman with the Christmas trees - really cute. But your Christmas cottage is just wonderful! Lovely colouring and I love the snowstorm behind the cottage!

  7. Oh wow, I love both of these - but I think the winter cottage is my favourite - I love the way you used the flourish/swirl stamp to create a sparkly snowstorm effect. Beautiful.
