Hi everyone! I've been practicing with my craft videos and I've got one more this week! This time I used the Love Puffin set and the Rocky Shores die set. Here's a look at the card in the video...
And here's the video...
I hope you are enjoying the videos! I always wonder what folks like to see the most. I'd love to hear what types of crafty techniques you'd like to see!
As always, thanks so much for stopping by! Of the many things for which I am thankful, all my crafty friends are certainly up there on the list:) Mahalo,
I just wanted to post a card I made for my niece who turned 5 recently. I can't seem to stop playing with my Hang in There dies and stamps, but this time, I changed it up just a bit. Instead of hanging on, my kitty cat is holding on! I did this by slightly angling the die and cutting the paws individually.

If you'd like to see exactly how I made this card, check out my new video...
And here's the original video on how to use the dies...
I hope everyone has a wonderful week! And a happy and safe Thanksgiving to those in the US:)
Hi guys! If you need a little pick me up this week (like I do), check out the new release on the Avery Elle site! I have some new designs out including the stamp and die set, Hang in There. Here's some peeks at that set in action...
This release is looking toward next Spring season, so I also designed a fun Valentine's set called Love Puffin. There is a stamp set with some cuddly puffins and a coordinating die set. I also created a background builder die set called Rocky Shores. These dies go well with the puffins, but would be great for making any beach/water scene.
Speaking of building backgrounds, this Trees dies set is just what you need to create practically any forest background! I love using it with my woodgrain papers:)
Last but not least, I designed some coordinating dies for my previously released stamp set Swim Team.
The full release is out on the Avery Elle site right now! Thank you for stopping in! And to everyone out there having a rough week like me, big hugs!!! The love and friendship that I've found in the card community really means the world to me!
Hey everyone! You don't even know how happy I am to be back on the blog today! It's been a crazy fall filled with college applications and football for the boys and a new job for me. But today, I'm so glad to be back to introduce some of my new designs coming out with Avery Elle this week! I have a few cards on the blog today with just a sampling of the new stamps and die sets. This first card features the Hang in There die and stamp set.
Together this stamp and die set lets you make all kinds of custom 3D animals. The dies are meant to cut the shape of the animal and the stamps add faces or texture. Unlike other dies, there is no outline. This card uses the cat shape to create a little kitty in a window:)
Instead of describing how these dies and stamps work, here's a video of them in action...
For this next card, I used the new Trees die set to create a custom forest scene. This die set allows you make almost any sized tree or branch. It also has additional dies to create leaves, birdhouse, and even a tree hollow! The dies work so well with woodgrain paper (or woodgrain embossed paper) like this...

The last set I'm featuring on the blog today is Love Birds stamps and coordinating dies. This set has some sweet Spring images including the flower girl and bird below. Check out the Avery Elle blog for a look at the entire set. I'll be posting more cards in the upcoming weeks with this set.

In addition to the sets above, I also have a fun Puffin set (called Love Puffin, natch) and coordinating dies for my previously released set Swim Team. You'll definitely be seeing some of those sets used on the blog in coming weeks. The full release will be November 10th, so keep an eye out at the Avery Elle site! Thanks for stopping by!
