Hey everyone! Got a little card today using the new Avery Elle set Build a Banner! Banners are so versatile and this set is even more so because it's customizable (you know I love that:) Here's a peek at the set and here's a little tip. On the Avery product page for this stamp, there is a examples picture that shows you how all the pieces work together. Print it out and store it with your stamps! Now for my card...
This set was screaming to be done chalkboard-style, so here's my go at it! Instead of a single banner, I went with the continuous loop. I thought the idea of a continuous banner went well with the sentiment:) For a little color, I stamped and die cut some flowers and leaves from the new set Laurels. It turned out so sweet!
I just love the look of the handwritten font on the banner. To make the sentiment pop a bit, I highlighted parts of it with a white gel pen. That little detail makes it stand out more from the banner itself. I have a friend who is going through a bit of a hard time and I hope this card cheers her up a bit!
Huge thanks for stopping in! I always appreciate your visits and lovely comments! Heather also has a project today, so please go give her a visit!
